No RC Car Required

Demitasse Racers won’t need to bring a crafted car and won’t need have an introduction for points. Instead, they will have a Judges Challenge to tackle! And this may change from year to year - or at random!

A Collaborative Effort

between the Robotic & Maker Fan Track, the Kids Track, and the Alternate & Historical Fiction Track, this special race provides Teapot Racers for interested Future Racers. And since they don’t need to create and bring their own RC Racers, this race will have modified rules.

A Modified Course

The Splendid Teapot Race thrives on a harrowing course meant to truly challenge every racers. The Demitasse course will have its challenges but on a easier mode. And it will be abbreviated so we won’t need as much time for each race!

No Signing Up

This race will be open to everyone who wants to participate. However, we will have a time limit. So if you want to race - make sure to get to the panel early!

But Will It Be a Splendid Teapot Race?

We’re hoping to give you a bite-sized nugget with all of the fun and excitement of our bigger Splendid Teapot Race. It might not have the same responsibilities - but there will still be mayhem, rc car action, and a lot of crowd participation. And there are some key elements of Splendid Teapot racing that we are keeping.

No Manhandling the Racer

While it would be a lot cheaper if we just used toy cars, our Racers are still being judged on how well they can use their remote and mind powers to move that speeding teapot around the course.

The Winner’s Prize

We won’t have any bribing the judges for this race, but we are still going to make sure that the Winner will get something to remember their achievement.
